World Children's Day

20th Nov 2025
Today we celebrated World Children's Day by holding an assembly for KS2 pupils. Some of our P7’s shared a few lines on their thoughts after the assembly.

“It was really important for us to learn about Children’s Rights. It makes us feel seen and heard. I’m glad our school has taught us about our rights and responsibilities.” Róisín Primary 7

“I learned that Children’s Rights come with responsibilities also.” Royale Primary 7

“Everybody has rights and responsibilities, no matter where they are from.” Isabella Primary 7

“Responsibilities are really important for us as we are the oldest in the school so we can set an example.” Laiba Primary 7

“Mrs Cathcart taught us that having rights means we also must be mature and responsible with them. We have the right to education, but we have come to school, behave and work hard.” Fia Primary 7

“We have the right to a clean and unpolluted environment to play in, but we have the responsibility to take care of it.” Aoife Primary 7
