World Book Day - KS1

The Primary 2 pupils welcomed Year 8 Mount Lourdes pupils today for a special read along to celebrate World Book Day. The Year 8’s read the Primary 2’s their favourite story, chatted all about stories they have read and enjoyed, shared a treat snack and had fun playing together in the playground. The children had a fantastic morning and it was lovely to see the two groups of pupils reading, chatting and laughing together. A lovely celebration of books and making connections. Thank you to all the girls. 🌍📚

Marion, our Librarian, read stories to our KS1 classes throughtout world book day. The younger classes really enjoy Marions stories.

P2 and P3 classes got to go on a bus to the Enniskillen library where they listened to a story read by one of the librarians, some of the children borrowed a book using their library card. The also learnt how to find a book on the shelves.
