School Mass
Holy Trinity Primary School came together for Mass in St Michaels Church on Friday 17th October, to celebrate the start of the new school year. Monsignor Peter O’Reilly and Deacon Martin said the Mass, taking time to talk to the pupils during the service. Our Junior and Senior choirs were in fine voice, led by Mrs Kirke with Miss Murray on Keyboards. Both choirs have been practicing over the past few weeks, together they filled the church with beautiful music and song. Representative staff from across the school brought symbols of 'life at Holy Trinity' to the Altar for the Mass. Pupils from KS2 said prayers of the faithful, readings and brought up the gifts. At the end of Mass each class was presented with a copy of the 150 year celebratory painting of St Michaels. These will be framed and put up in the classrooms in school. Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the children, and the chapel, for our wonderful school mass.
