Last Friday P7 went on a trip to Castle Coole as part of their rainforest topic. The trip also tied in with Mental Health Awareness Week, Friday was 'Feel Good Friday'.
The children spent the entire day in Castle Coole; measuring and calculating the age of trees, looking for different types of leaves and branches and collecting some natural resources to create some art using nature. When we came back to school everyone was given some fresh fruit as part of 'Fruity Friday' as well. We had a fabulous day.
