Our P5 classes have made a wormery in their classroom.
The children are learning about worms as part of their mini beasts topic. They had lots of fun making the wormery; adding different layers of soil, sand and compost, examining the worms and then putting them into their new home. The children love to see the paths the worms have made as they burrow their way through the different layers of soil and sand in the wormery.
