The Primary 2 children enjoyed a lovely autumn walk to Forthill this morning. It was a beautiful, crisp autumn day and the children had great fun looking for signs of autumn. They collected conkers, leaves, twigs, beech nuts, etc and brought all back to school to investigate and talk about. We talked about all the different types of trees and the shapes of their leaves. We are so lucky to have this wonderful resource right on our doorstep.
