Marking DLD DAY 2024 in our Speech and Language Class.

The pupils, their parents and staff from our Speech and Language Class came together to celebrate Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) day which took place on Friday 20th October. Everyone had a lovely time! DLD day is held each year to raise awareness of this disorder.

Developmental Language Disorder is a hidden but common disability that affects 1 in 14 people causing difficulties understanding and using language for no known reason.
