The Key stage 2 choir recently took part in the City of Derry International Choral Festival. They sang two beautiful pieces “Sun Arise” and “We’ll Sing a Round”.
The children enjoyed listening to other school choirs from across Northern Ireland and were also treated to a performance from a Polish choir and SLIXS group who sang, rapped and used body sounds. The SLIXS group then took a ‘Big Sing’ workshop where they taught the children a song with accompanying body movements and actions.
It was a wonderful day and they performed excellently. We were all so proud of them.
