Nuala Bannon and Geraldine Corrigan from the Friends of the Cancer Centre were delighted to accept a cheque for £1300 from Holy Trinity PS when they visited our school last week. They spoke to the staff about how they really appreciated the continued support of the school. Holy Trinity has been raising money for the Friends of the Cancer Centre for a number of years now. Mrs Williams made the presentation.
The money was raised from our staff Coffee Morning/Brunch, held in September. Staff baked, there was a 'Bake Off' competition and a wonderful raffle with some fantastic prizes.
We are always amazed by the amount of money raised during these coffee mornings. Thank you to all the staff who donated to our fundraiser in any way. Thank you also to those who helped organise the coffee morning on the day, they put in a huge effort to make sure the morning was a success.
