Celebrating World Maths Day in KS1

Holy Trinity KS1 celebrated World Maths Day with classes getting involved in a variety of number and maths activities to mark the day.
P4 classes completed a maths trail around the school. They also took part in a competition to make the best face from numbers.
In P3 classes walked to Forthill where they enjoyed a number trail. The children made sets of objects and identified shapes using natural materials in the environment. The children also took part in a competition to make the best face from numbers.
P2 celebrated World Maths Day by taking part in a 'Number Scavenger Hunt', the children were finding numbers hidden all around the school. Everyone loved getting outdoors in the sunshine! βοΈπ’
