Celebrating St Patricks Day at KS1

The staff and children at KS1 came together in the hall at Mill street to celebrate St Patricks Day.

Mrs Mongan, Mrs McManus, Miss Murray and Brigid played a few tunes and everyone clapped along. We enjoyed some beauriful Irish dancing from Caoimhe (P2) and Teagan (P7) who performed a solo dance and from Meabh, Myah and Emelia who together danced a Reel. Mr Devlin's class acted out the story of St Patrick for everyone. The children spoke out well and gave us a few laughs. Miss Crudden sang and played the guitar, she gave a beautiful solo performance of 'Caledonia'. Mrs Kirke and the Junior Choir ended the celebrations with a few lively come-all-ye's. Everyone joined in, singing along to the rattlin Bog.

Thank you to everyone who performed, played music, helped with rehearsals and decorated the hall. It was a very enjoyable St Patricks Day celebration.

Georgia performed a reel and light jig for Mr Starrs' class as part of their St Patrick's Day celebrations. The class were delighted.

Miss O'Hanlon's class really enjoyed taking part in all the celebrations to mark St Patrick's Day. We were especially proud of Caoimhe for dancing her beginner reel so well.

Miss Crudden's class enjoyed wearing green for St Patrick's day.

The Junior Choir sang some lovely songs during our St Patricks Day celebrations.

We enjoyed ceili dancing, music and song during our St Patricks Day celebrations.

Mr Devlin's P6 class acted out the story of St Patrick.
