3D printing in P4

17th Jan 2023

In P4 the children are learning all about Egypt.  As part of this topic they have designed their own Cartouches and are printing them using the 3D printer.  Here is what Cillian had to say: 'We each made our cartouches on the computers using Tinkercad software.  We put our names or our initials on the Cartouches.  We then used the 3D printer to print them out. The printer had to heat up before it started printing.  It took around 1 to 2 hours to print 3 cartouches.  Finally, once it cooled down for 10 minutes, the cartouches were ready.' Cillian P4
