Mrs Clarke's (Mrs Daly) class performed a wonderful assembly about Lent for us today. The children acted out some of the temptations that Jesus might have dealt with while he fasted for 40 days & nights. The acting was excellent, the children spoke very clearly and with lots of feeling.
The children then gave us all some alternative ideas for what we could do during lent, taking an hour away from devices, putting some of their pocket money in the lent collection box or simply doing something kind each day.
Well done everyone on a great assembly.
